On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at about 9:30 p.m. , a male was walking west on Ash Street in the crosswalk at N. Seventh Street, Salina, Kansas, when he was struck by a vehicle. 

The vehicle then left the area without rendering aid. The male was transported to the hospital and had minor injuries.

The vehicle was described as a black 2020 or newer Honda Civic with an unknown temporary Kansas tag.
