DOUGLAS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 1p.m. Wednesday in Douglas County.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff's office, the head-on crash occurred just east of the intersection of 31st and Louisiana Street.
In addition to the fatality victim, EMS transported three others to area hospitals. One of the others was air-lifted to a hospital.
The sheriff's office crash investigation team is examining the scene and 31st Street between Louisiana Street east of Haskell Avenue will be closed for several hours.
